Recover Your Account

Locked out? Forgot your PIN? Lost your phone? Here's how to get back into your PataDeals account safely. Account recovery is done inside the PataDeals app: and if you get stuck at any point, our support team is ready to help.

Forgot your PIN?

You can reset your PIN yourself in under a minute:

1. Open the PataDeals app and tap Forgot PIN? on the login screen.
2. Enter your registered phone number.
3. We'll send a one-time code (OTP) by SMS to that number.
4. Enter the code, then set your new PIN.

Your new PIN takes effect immediately. All wallet transactions and redemptions will require the new PIN from now on.

Changed or lost your phone number?

Your phone number is your identity on PataDeals, so changing it is verified carefully:

• You still have access to your old number: in the app, go to Me → Settings → Security → Change phone. A verification code is sent to your old number to confirm it's really you, then your account moves to the new number.
• You no longer have access to your old number: you won't be able to receive the OTP, so contact our support team (below). To protect your account, we'll take you through identity verification before transferring the account to a new number.

Business accounts

If you can't get into a business account, contact support from your registered business email or phone number. We'll verify your identity and restore your access.

Frozen your account?

If you froze your account from Settings → Account, simply log back in and follow the prompts to reactivate, or contact support if you need help unfreezing it.

Think someone else has accessed your account?

Act quickly:

1. Reset your PIN immediately using the steps above.
2. Freeze your account (Settings → Account) if you see activity you don't recognise.
3. Contact support so we can secure the account, review recent activity and reverse anything suspicious where possible.

Remember: PataDeals will never call, text or message you asking for your PIN or OTP. Anyone asking for these is trying to defraud you. Report them to us.

To protect your account, our team will always verify your identity before making any recovery changes. Please have your registered phone number and recent account activity details (e.g. a recent order or parcel tracking code) ready. It speeds things up.
